Warrior is not easy.
If you want to do your job well, it is probably even the hardest. You will have to group mobs, corner block them, go for key targets, call them... and you also depend on your team a lot, too.
This is why I totally disagree on Warrior being an easy starting class.
It can be very frustrating due to the massive melee hate in PvE, and a badly played warrior does much worse than a Necromancer or Elementalist.
Paragon is easier, you have to worry less about positioning.

Id say Warrior is the easiest to get the hang of in PvE. Many have said that it is one of the harder classes to play. To tell the truth, it has a slower learning curve than some classes like Mesmers, Monks or Assasisns, so it sounds like a good starting class for you to return to GW
Necros are also rediculously overpowered and could be considered Jacks of all trades (except maybe primary healer - not taking into account N/Mo or N/Rt). They pack target specific damage, AoE Damage, party Support (both offensive and defensive) or can tank with or without minions with the correct builds.

If you think warrior is easy to play, you almost certainly suck at it. True in both PvE and PvP. Proper aggro management saves a ton of time; it is also harder than it sounds or looks.
If you want easy, play an Ele. Blow things up with Fire Magic until you get your feet wet; then you have a number of different options depending on what you want to get out of the character. You can solo quite effectively with several different builds; you can stick to nuking; you can run goofy support bars. None of these take a lot of effort or skill to do.

Um I'm trying to decide now between Ele / Ritualist.
I wonder which I should pick.

Sounds like you should choose an Ele. A pretty easy class, fairly powerful and has a couple effective solo builds. I have to admit I really enjoyed my Ritualist, but I am more support oriented. I got a little bored with the various Ele builds and, after a while, she turned more into a farming character in specific areas. Stil, Eles are quite fun.

Ele is easier to get groups with if you want to PUG, with tons of ready-made easy-to-use builds. Can be fairly versatile, depending on what element(s) you use.
Rit is more versatile overall, but a lot of the skills tend to be conditional on other things (spirit in range, if target ally is hexed or conditioned, etc.), so builds a bit more complicated to make than with the ele.
Ele's primary attribute is much more generally useful, though, so I'd suggest going E/Rt to get the best of both worlds.

War and Ele. Hit stuff or blow it up. Pretty straight-forward.

lol, I was just listing what a necro can do... doesnt mean he has to do it. Its just one of the more versatile classes with insanely good energy management in PvE.
Id list a necro as easier to play than an ele for just that reason... 90% of the time energy management is not up to which skill you use when, but of what you kill and how fast... leave energy problems for the other classes to fiddle about with skills and spells.

Warrior is basic idea: Melee fighter.
Ranger is basic idea: Long range attacker.
Try one of those.

Make a necro. They're the best class for Ursan because of SR. Hope this helps.
